How to use the law of attraction to overcome challenges in your life
In our everyday lives we face many challenges, and having knowledge of the laws of our universe can help us overcome them with more ease. I will first start introducing the concept of the law of attraction, and how you can use it to overcome the challenges you might be facing now in your life. A challenge is a situation in your environment or in your mind that causes negative emotions.
When I refer to the law of attraction, I do not exactly mean that what you think is what you attract. What I mean is that your awareness is the sole creator of your whole world, while you might be immersed in the personal self you call yourself. Through your thoughts and emotions you inform your awareness of what is your truth, and this awareness creates the experiences in your outer world according to the thoughts or images and feelings you have.
You are in full control of what happens in your outer world. You are the creator of your world, the God or Goddess of your world. No matter what is going on in the outer world, you are in full control of what will appear in the future in your outer world through your thoughts and emotions.
Most people let the outer world form their thoughts and emotions, and this in turn creates the same things for them. Things may seem stuck, like living the same things over and over for years. But this is not how life is supposed to be lived. You have to know that there is no relationship between the outer world and your inner state, your thoughts and your emotions. Your inner state creates your outer world, but the outer world should not inform your inner state in any way. You decide if you want to associate the outer world with your inner state, if you do you create what you created in the past.
In every moment you have the choice of what you will experience in the outer world in the future through your inner state. It first begins by learning to separate the outer world from your inner world and the putting your focus on your inner world. Listen to your thoughts, what is their content, how do they make you feel? Investigate. You have to be on top of your thoughts and your emotions from the time you wake up until the time you go to bed. It is a full time job, and the most important thing you can do in your life.
When you face a challenging situation in your outer environment, how do you feel? Frustrated, fearful, disappointed, depressed, unworthy? If you continue to react to the images in your outer world with negative emotions, this is what you will get in the future. So you have to be very careful on how you react emotionally to challenging situations. A practical thing to do when you are in such situations is to find a way to remove the importance you have on the subject, so that your feelings can improve. Every time you are faced with the challenging situation, you have to be on top of your thoughts and your feelings, and when a negative feeling arises, affirm that it is not a big deal, and that whatever is happening in the outer world cannot affect you. Try to be like a tree in a storm, just being there undisturbed until it passes. Let the experience happen and do not react with negative emotion to it. If you do this consistently, you will notice that the situation improves. No matter how significant the challenge may seem to be, rise above it. Affirm that it’s not such a big deal. The big secret to life is to learn to be undisturbed emotionally to events in the outer world. You have to make an effort to be in a state of peace, joy, love throughout your day.
Your thoughts need to be controlled. When the experience in the outer world that caused the negative emotional response finishes, your thoughts will appear to cause negative emotions, by remembering what happened or worrying about the situation and the future. You have to be on top of your thoughts, and when you identify a thought in your mind about the subject, you have to tell yourself that everything is fine with the subject. If you do this correctly, you will feel a sense of relief and peace. Every time a thought comes into your mind about the subject, catch it and do not let it affect you emotionally, and replace it with the self statement that everything is fine with the subject. As I mentioned, the outer world should not be associated with your inner world, so even if the outer world shows something very different, your self talk on the subject should always be that everything is fine.
Once you learn to not let your outer world and your thoughts cause negative emotions to your body, you are free. Don’t look the outer world for signs or confirmation that your nonresistance changed things. Your inner world always creates everything in your outer world. If you consistently not respond emotionally to the outer world and its apparent challenges, the challenges will start to dissolve and disappear from your experience.
